Is it hard to get an RA position?

Student Resident Assistants (RAs) often juggle supporting residents, organizing events, and responding to emergencies—all while managing their own coursework. Time management is crucial, as unexpected situations can arise that require immediate attention, sometimes conflicting with personal study schedules. Regular training and support from residence life staff also help RAs develop strategies to maintain a healthy academic and work-life balance.

These skills ensure a safe, supportive living environment and help address student concerns effectively.

Is being a dorm RA worth it?
