Job Summary and QualificationsCT Technologist prepares and positions patients and equipment is a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures. Obtains high quality CT Images. Maintains proactive, effective communication with patient and physicians regarding any and all findings, patient histories and test results as appropriate. Collaborates and confers with all colleagues and members of the healthcare team.



Essential Functions include but are not limited to: 


  • Obtain quality CT images. 


  • Complies with radiation safety guidelines.  


  • Operates CT equipment safely. 


  • Demonstrates ability to perform all necessary computer operations. 


  • Render patient care in professional and courteous manner. 


  • Prepare CT scanner and perform quality control tests. 


  • Assist the radiologist in administering medication, contrast agents, performing biopsies and all types of care to patients. 


  • Reviews each exam for technical accuracy andidentifiesanatomical orientation on all images. 


  • Demonstrates willingness to assist in additional duties. 


  • Completes and maintains educational requirements. 


  • Promotes internal and external customer satisfaction. 


  • Builds and promotes a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement. 


  • Attendance: works as scheduled and is compliant with Attendance and Tardiness Policy. 


What qualifications you will need:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology 


  • ARRT (R)(CT within 12 months of hire) 


  • Active New Hampshire State Medical Imaging/Radiation Therapy license 


  • American Heart Association BLS 


  • One to three years experience as a Radiology Technologist 


Schedule:

Friday, Saturday and Sunday 7p-7a
