Job description


The USF Health Office of Research is seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Federal Work Study student to provide administrative and office support. This position offers students the opportunity to gain professional experience in a research administration environment while supporting the daily operations of the Office of Research.
Responsibilities
The selected student employee will assist with a variety of administrative and operational tasks, including:
  • Collect and distribute office mail on a daily basis.
  • Maintain office kitchen and breakroom inventory, including stocking beverages and supplies as needed.
  • Conduct weekly inventory checks of kitchen and office supplies and communicate replenishment needs to designated staff.
  • Print and organize monthly financial reports and associated purchasing card documentation.
  • Assist with filing, organizing, and binding financial records and documents from prior fiscal years.
  • Organize and maintain office supply storage areas and inventory records.
  • Support records management and document organization projects.
  • Assist with digital file organization and maintenance of departmental storage systems.
  • Perform general clerical and administrative duties as assigned.
  • Provide support for special projects and office initiatives as needed.
