Job Description:
Become a Certified Nursing Assistant with Essentia Health - No-Cost Training Opportunity!
The Essentia Health Northern Pines Care Center team is excited to partner with Advanced Minnesota to offer free Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training for individuals interested in beginning a rewarding career in healthcare.
This program covers the full cost of education and the certification exam required to become a CNA. Participants will also earn income while training by providing indirect care to patients.
Program Highlights
• No cost for tuition or certification exam
• Earn income during training
• Hands-on experience in a supportive healthcare environment
Education Qualifications:
This is a Flex position (0.6-0.9) - 24-36hr per week.
Rate of Pay:
  • $15.00/hour during training
  • CNA wage upon certification, based on Essentia Health Virginia Care Center's CNA pay scale

As a CNA Trainee, You Will:
  • Assist licensed professionals and direct care staff with personal care tasks based on individualized care plans to ensure residents' comfort.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents.
  • Assist with meal setup, water pass, and other basic personal care needs.
  • Provide activities and exercise opportunities as assigned.
  • Support residents with psychosocial needs and emotional well-being.
  • Observe and promptly report any changes in residents' conditions to supervisors.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist with entrance screening and other duties as assigned.
