Follett Content Solutions helps build a diverse collection of print and digital resources to support every student. We are currently hiring for a packer to work in our warehouse.
This position is full-time non-exempt position located in McHenry, IL. The pay for this position is $16.56 plus bonus potential. We offer an array of benefits, to see those benefits click here. Any pay range disclosed is based upon a combination of neutral factors such as required qualifications, experience, education, skill, training, certifications, seniority, etc.

  • The Packer performs a wide variety of physical and clerical tasks associated with shipment of supplies and finished products.
  • Ensures outgoing shipments are correctly assembled, packaged, protected, and labeled to minimize delivery problems.
  • Specially pack, wrap, and reinforce units per packaging requirements.
  • Use computer software to review, select, and print shipping information.
  • Mark identifying information and instructions on containers as needed.
  • Maintain inventory and stock shelves with supplies and maintain clean and safe work area.
Requirements
  • Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds with or without assistance.
  • Must be able to walk/stand for up to 8 hours a day.
