  • Design and lead attendance campaigns, celebrations, and programming that encourage consistent student attendance and engagement.
  • Provide training and support to staff on attendance systems, protocols, and effective attendance intervention practices.
Strengthen Family Engagement and Community Partnerships
  • Plan and execute family engagement programs, events, and initiatives aligned to school priorities and student achievement goals.
  • Develop and manage family communication strategies that keep families informed, connected, and engaged in the life of the school.
  • Connect students and families with school-based and community resources that support academic success, health, and overall well-being.
  • Partner with school leaders and family-facing staff to implement best practices that strengthen family engagement and increase participation.
Ensure Student Welfare and Compliance
  • Support educational neglect reporting processes and ensure timely, accurate compliance with attendance-related requirements.
  • Support students and families experiencing housing instability by coordinating access to school and community resources.
  • Monitor attendance and engagement systems to ensure they effectively support vulnerable student populations and remove barriers to student success.
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant attendance, student welfare, and McKinney-Vento requirements to ensure compliance and high-quality support for students and families.
