  • Advanced Test Mastery: Deep knowledge of BCABA examination content covering basic behavior-analytic skills, philosophical underpinnings, concepts and principles of behavior analysis, measurement, data display, experimental design, behavior-change procedures, and ethical responsibilities. Ability to explain reinforcement schedules, functional behavior assessment, and behavior intervention planning while preparing candidates for Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst certification.
  • Strategic Test-Taking & Problem-Solving: Skilled at teaching behavior-analytic concept application, ethical scenario analysis, and data interpretation for BCABA examination. Guides students through identifying functions of behavior, selecting appropriate measurement procedures, designing behavior intervention plans, interpreting graphed data, and applying the BACB Ethics Code to professional scenarios. Emphasizes connecting theoretical principles to applied behavior analysis practice.
  • Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with BCABA Task List content and common challenges such as distinguishing between reinforcement and punishment procedures, interpreting single-subject research designs, and applying ethical standards to complex scenarios. Adapts instruction using practice examinations, behavior-analytic case studies, and data analysis exercises to support BCaBA candidates preparing for board certification.
  • Effective Teaching Methods: Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
  • Ability to adapt to different learning styles and student needs.
