Job description

Overview:

Student will be positioned in the reception area of the museum welcoming visitors and providing information. Student will assist in installation of exhibition and entry of data to a database program.

Campus Location: Des Plaines

Length of Employment: Fall 2026, with opportunity to renew

Hours Available: Monday- Friday: 10:00 am- 6:00 pm; Saturday: 11:00- 4:00 pm.

Candidate Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Other Abilities or KSOAs)

Qualified candidates will have the following competencies and skills:

Background in fine art, or art history, or design, or photography, or museum studies are preferred.

Office skills including Microsoft Office programs.

Eligible to work in the United States.

Enrolled in at least six credit hours for the Fall semester.

GPA of at least 2.0 and be in good academic standing.
