Nature & Purpose of Position
This position provides support for the Facilities Planning & Construction Department.
  • General clerical work such as filing and data input will be required.
  • Assists with the digital updates of building blueprints and campus maps.
  • Produces prints of maps and building layouts as requested.
  • Helps organize the department plans room.
  • The ability to use office machines: computer, copier, and scanner will be required.
  • Student must possess ability to use Microsoft Office Programs..
  • Must be a self-starter, responsible, reliable, punctual, and able to maintain work place confidentiality.

Other Requirements for the Position
  • Organized, ability to type, use office machines, have experience with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Keep an organized and professional work environment.
  • Student should be a self-starter, able to follow instructions, and takes pride in their work.
  • Ability to alphabetize and maintain electronic databases and physical files.
  • Must be a team player and build good working relationships with staff, coworkers, and superiors, along with guests in the office.
  • Student will provide quality customer service on a daily basis to Facilities Management Staff, Customers, and end users whether it is written, verbal, or in person.
  • Be willing to learn and adapt to a fast paced working environment.
