Salary: $58,202 - 76,3444 for 201 days

To promote a positive school climate and to support instructional staff and students through consultation and direct services related to student social/emotional/behavioral needs.

NOTE: The below lists are not ranked in order of importance.

• 1. Bachelor's degree is required.
• 2. Successful experience supporting the social, emotional and behavioral needs of students within the school setting.
• 3. Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) certification or coursework preferred.
• 4. Prior experience in assisting teams in data collection, analyzing behavioral concerns, and intervention planning within the school setting.
• 5. Satisfies the criminal background check.
• 6. Displays flexibility, reliability, self-discipline and a willingness to take on challenging tasks.
• 7. Exhibits effective time management and resourceful problem-solving skills.
• 8. Possesses excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills and proficiency with current technology; ability to confidentially communicate.
• 9. Exhibits strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate well across a variety of multi-cultural, multi-experience, multi-background audiences including students, staff, administration, parents and the community.
• 10. Ability to organize, prioritize, work under time constraints and to be flexible in an environment of multiple tasks and changing priorities.
• 11. Possesses a strong understanding of a multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) and behavioral analysis.
• 12. Exhibits effective coaching, collaboration, and documentation skills.

• 1. Complies with drug-free workplace rules and board policies.
• 2. Adheres to the Licensure Code of Professional Conduct for Ohio Educators.
• 3. Provides direct, short term behavioral consultation to staff to address specific behavioral concerns.
• 4. Provides job embedded professional learning to staff in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments, developing Behavior Intervention Plans and data collection.
• 5. Provides job embedded professional learning to staff in environmental and whole class strategies to promote positive classroom environments.
• 6. Provides resource materials for data collection and progress monitoring of behavior.
• 7. Provide professional learning to staff on Tier 1 classroom strategies to support the social, emotional and behavioral support of all students and targeted Tier 2 strategies.
• 8. Leads and supports the completion of Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs).
• 9. Provides short term direct support to students in crisis.
• 10. Provides flexible support to school avoidant students to assist them in re-integrating into the school setting, including working with students outside of the school setting.
• 11. Liaises to outside/community agency support for students (e.g., community mental health providers, CCBDD, PEP Connections, juvenile court, etc.).
• 12. Supports district PBIS and MTSS initiatives.
• 13. Develops supplemental materials/resources.
• 14. Attends and participates in staff meetings, planning/training sessions.
• 15. Implements strategies aligned to the Strategic Plan.
• 16. Apply research and data to improve the content, sequence and outcomes of social, emotional and behavioral intervention programming and write Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• 17. Maintain current and accurate documentation.
• 18. Encourage parental involvement in students' education and ensure effective communication with staff, parents and students.
• 19. Assist with unexpected/urgent situations as needed.
• 20. Attend and present at meetings and in-services as required.
• 21. Attend professional growth seminars, workshops, etc. to keep current on relevant issues.
• 22. Cultivate relationships with all departments that promote a strong commitment to District goals
• 23. Maintain respect at all times for confidential information (e.g., student test scores, family information, personnel documents).
• 24. Promote a positive school climate in support of academic excellence.
