Through accurate and thoughtful records management, our newest colleague will join the Information Systems team in advancing our mission by supporting the maintenance of constituent records and helping ensure The Association maintains the highest level of data accuracy.ย

ROUTINE DUTIESย 

  • Assist with modifying constituent records in the database as directed.ย ย 
  • Support routine biographical record updates, including address, phone, email, name, employment, relationship and other constituent information.ย ย 
  • Assist with reviewing, organizing, and entering records-related data.ย ย 
  • Perform basic online research to locate or verify biographical information.ย ย 
  • Assist with identifying and researching discrepancies in constituent records.ย ย 
  • Support database accuracy through routine review and cleanup of record information.ย ย 
  • Assist with updating records related to former students, current students, parents, faculty, staff, friends and other constituents.ย ย 
  • Support Silver Taps and obituary-related record updates as assigned, including research and documentation.ย ย 
  • Assist with uploading or organizing obituary-related information under the direction of Records staff.ย ย 
  • Assist with special projects on an as-needed basis.ย ย 

EMPLOYEES OF THE ASSOCIATION OF FORMER STUDENTSย 

  • Participate in various Association-wide activities such as engagement and fundraising goals, internal event teams, task committees, attending gameday receptions, Distinguished Alumni Gala and other external events as required.ย ย 
  • Serve as an ambassador by meeting our Team Expectations, fostering relationships with students and other constituents of Texas A&M.ย ย

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Required: Excellent attention to detail. Ability to follow specific directions. Good communication skills including good grammar. Ability to handle sensitive information. ย 

Preferred: Availability to work during periods when university is not in session, such as summers and holidays. Experience with data entry and/or database systems. Familiarity with Texas A&M University or The Association of Former Students.
