Position: P/T Classroom Aide and Extended Care
Compensation: $20-$21 per hour
Position open: Until filled, hiring for the 2026-27 school year
Job Description:
The Village Charter School is looking for Classroom Teacher's Assistant (approx. 5.5 hours/day). This position includes the option of additional weekly hours working as Extended Care staff.
Qualifications:
VCS is looking for an individual who:
is a self-starter and can take initiative
likes being in a supportive role can work well with others
has strong organizational skills
can maintain healthy emotional and physical boundaries
is comfortable working with and can interact with, supervise, and instruct small groups of students in 1st through 5th grade
has academic strengths or talents that would be an asset in the classroom
Bilingual desired, but not required.
