Job description

Summer 2027 Construction Management Intern

Ready to take what you’re learning in the classroom and put it to work on a real construction site?

CHASSE Building Team is looking for Construction Management students to join us for Summer 2027 and become part of our project teams in the field. You’ll work alongside experienced Superintendents, Project Managers, and Project Engineers while getting hands-on exposure to how projects are built from the ground up.

This isn’t an internship where you’ll spend the summer watching from the sidelines. You’ll be part of the team, learning the business, contributing to active projects, and building the experience you need to launch your career in construction.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Superintendents and project teams with daily field activities
  • Participate in jobsite walks, team meetings, and safety activities
  • Assist with tracking project progress and daily documentation
  • Review construction drawings and project documents
  • Assist with quality control and punch list activities
  • Help coordinate with subcontractors and trade partners
  • Gain exposure to RFIs, submittals, schedules, and project documentation
  • Learn construction sequencing, scheduling, safety, and field operations
  • Support the project team with additional needs as assigned

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management
  • Interested in building a career in commercial construction
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Motivated, dependable, and eager to learn
  • Comfortable working in an active construction environment
  • Team-oriented and willing to jump in wherever needed

Why Intern at CHASSE?

CHASSE Building Team is a 100% employee-owned general contractor with a people-first, team-oriented culture. As a CHASSE intern, you’ll work alongside experienced construction professionals, contribute to real projects, build relationships across the industry, and get an inside look at what a career with CHASSE can look like after graduation.
