Job description

Position Purpose

This position will play a key role in supporting Windsor's BankLink platform, the broker- and borrower-facing intake system for structuring debt solutions across Windsor's 100+ lender network. The Analyst will focus on intake and support activities, including gathering and reviewing borrower and broker information, entering and maintaining records in CRM and BankLink, assisting in the structuring of opportunities, and coordinating with team members to ensure smooth handoff to lenders and the Windsor Credit and Closing teams. This position emphasizes accuracy, efficiency, and responsiveness in handling incoming leads and supporting the VP and team in driving successful placements.

Position Responsibilities

  • Support the intake of borrower and broker opportunities through the BankLink platform, ensuring accurate and timely data entry.
  • Review and validate borrower application materials and supporting documentation for completeness prior to structuring.
  • Maintain and update CRM and BankLink records, including leads, opportunities, accounts, and contacts.
  • Assist the Vice President in preparing structured debt opportunities for lender review, including gathering financials and borrower details.
  • Coordinate with internal team members to ensure efficient handoff of structured opportunities to Windsor's lending partners.
  • Conduct preliminary research and analysis on applicants, markets, and referral sources to support intake and structuring activities.
  • Monitor pipeline activity, provide status updates, and flag issues or gaps in borrower submissions.
  • Provide administrative support for reporting, scorecards, and performance tracking related to intake and structuring.
  • Uphold KPIs related to accuracy, turnaround time, and responsiveness in managing incoming opportunities.

Minimum Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communication, or other related area.
  • 0-3 years related experience in finance, credit, sales, marketing, or similar industry.
  • Experience in a credit structuring or closing role at a banking or financial institute preferred. 

Technical Knowledge and Skills

  • Must have a thorough knowledge of principles and methods of selling.
  • Ability to design, implement and monitor effective marketing strategies.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing excellent customer and personal services.
  • Ability to close business proposals.
  • Working knowledge of all mediums of social media and other related marketing software.
  • Strong communication and negotiating skills.
  • Basic credit acumen
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Personable nature & Positive attitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation

  • Base Salary Range: $55,000 - $70,000 annually / hourly. Final determination of where you are at in the salary range is based on numerous factors such as geographical location, relevant experience, skill set, education, and ability to meet qualifications within the job description. 
  • Additional Compensation: This role will include a yearly annual target bonus based on individual performance.

Working Arrangements

  • This role is expected to work full-time in office. This role is based in our Chicago office location.
