Job description

The Products Specialist supports the design, development, and lifecycle management of the Bank's investment and banking product suites. This role combines product expertise, market analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the delivery of innovative, compliant, client-centric, and operationally sound solutions across structured products, funds, deposits, payments, credit products, and digital banking services.
Key Responsibilities
Product Development and Support
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of investment products such as structured notes, mutual funds, and bespoke solutions.
  • Support the development and enhancement of banking products including checking and savings accounts, time deposits, credit solutions, and payment services.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis across investment and banking products to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
  • Prepare business cases, product documentation, approval materials, and product updates for internal governance processes

Operational and Digital Enablement / Portfolio and Risk Support
  • Collaborate with operations, technology, digital, and external partners to ensure smooth implementation and ongoing support of banking and investment products.
    Contribute to the digital transformation of both investment and banking solutions across mobile and online platforms.
  • Monitor product performance, client feedback, and operational indicators, recommending enhancements as needed.
  • Liaise with internal and external portfolio managers to support investment decisions, including monitoring asset allocation and assisting with rebalancing aligned to client Investment Policy Statements.
  • Act as a first line of defense in risk management across investment and banking products, ensuring adherence to operational and regulatory standards.

Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Work closely with legal, compliance, risk, operations, technology, and finance teams to support product delivery.
  • Partner with relationship managers, bankers, and client advisors to gather feedback and enhance offerings across investment and banking products.
  • Participate in cross-functional working groups, governance forums, and project teams to support product initiatives and market readiness.

Compliance and Documentation
  • Ensure adherence to BSNAML, AML, KYC, BSA, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, product records, and support audit, risk, and compliance reviews.
  • Track and report on risk indicators, performance metrics, and operational controls tied to investment and banking products

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in investment product support, banking product management, digital banking, or related financial-services roles.
  • Strong understanding of capital markets, investment vehicles, core banking products, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in English; Portuguese and/or Spanish preferred.
