Low Voltage Technician (West Chicago, IL)

Full Time | Benefits Eligible | Pay Based on Experience $20 - $39 Per Hour

We're bringing on experienced Low Voltage Technicians that are ready to work on clean, wellrun commercial projects with a team that knows the difference between "done" and "done right." If you know your way around structured cabling, pathways, terminations, and testing, and you want to work somewhere that actually appreciates good technicians, this is where to apply!

This is a non-union position and may require travel.

Responsibilities

  • Roughing in, terminating, and testing copper cabling. Fiber termination experience is a plus
  • Installing pathway supports such as j-hooks and ladder trays
  • Servicing/troubleshooting network cabling in a commercial environment
  • Installing closet hardware including backboards, connecting blocks, racks, patch panels and fiber enclosures

Requirements

  • Experience: Cabling: 1 year (Preferred)
  • License/Certification: Driver's License (Required)
  • Ability to Commute: Framingham, MA 01701 (Required)
  • Willingness to travel: 50% (Preferred)
