Job description

Job Summary:

The qualified candidate will be well rounded and experienced in commercial Audio/Visual systems. This individual should have strong industry knowledge of best practices and installation standards consistent with InfoComm and manufacturers' specifications.
Project Manager Job Duties:
  • Responsible that all structured cabling installations projects are delivered on-budget, on-time, and safely.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of all assigned projects. Communicate with management in advance about staffing requirements.
  • Coordinate & approve equipment & product purchasing
  • Scheduling, managing, & coordinating the available labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, weather, technical expertise, diverse cultures & the calendar. Will perform site visits in the pre-planning phase.
  • Effective communication interaction with Sales, the Client, and Installation Teams & Management. Conduct regular team meetings.
  • Travel will be required, sometimes with little advance notice.
  • Documenting every aspect of the project's progress including , change orders, logistics, & events
  • Pre-Commissioning Testing, and Quality Control
  • Manage subordinate timecards
  • Client Training
  • Obtaining Final Sign-Offs at project completion.

Qualifications
Job Experience | Qualifications | Requirements:
  • 2 to 5+ years of proven Commercial Audiovisual Installation Project Management experience - Pre-Planning to Closeout
  • Financial, budgeting, & scheduling background
  • InfoComm CTS would be preferred.
  • PMP certification is valued.
  • Experience with construction process.
  • Highly effective at meeting deadlines, and is very comfortable making decisions & initiating action.
