Entry-Level Data Center Cable Technician (Low Voltage) - El Paso, TX

Launch a Career in the Growing Data Center Industry!

We are seeking hardworking, dependable individuals to join a large-scale data center construction project in El Paso, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with general labor, construction, or skilled trades experience who are looking to build a long-term career in the low voltage and structured cabling industry.

No prior data center experience is required. Candidates with experience in landscaping, carpentry, drywall installation, concrete work, roofing, framing, plumbing assistance, electrical assistance, warehouse work, or other hands-on trades are encouraged to apply.

Candidates with previous low voltage, Cat5, Cat6, fiber optic, cable installation, or telecom experience may qualify for higher pay rates.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Pulling and routing low voltage cable throughout the data center
  • Assisting experienced technicians with installations
  • Installing Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic cabling systems
  • Mounting cable trays, racks, patch panels, and network hardware
  • Using hand and power tools safely
  • Climbing ladders and working at varying heights
  • Supporting the buildout of telecommunications and network infrastructure
  • Organizing materials and maintaining a clean work area
  • Learning industry-standard structured cabling installation practices
