Job description

Job Title: Senior Project Manager Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma Type: Contract Compensation: $60.00 - $83.00 per hour Work Model: Remote – offsite Hours: 40.0

Overview Must be US Citizen or Green Card holder to qualify Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of multiple complex IT and/or business projects to ensure timely, within scope, and within budget delivery.
  • Build project teams, lead large and complex scoped projects, and coordinate project planning, execution, testing, and delivery.
  • Collaborate with team members, vendors, and consultants to drive project delivery according to plan.
  • Resolve issues to meet project goals and requirements, and define project scope, develop schedules, and gather detailed requirements.
  • Work with sponsors to define success factors and establish project team roles and responsibilities.
  • Monitor progress, ensure accountability, and communicate regularly with stakeholders through project communication plans.
  • Facilitate meetings, follow project management methodology, and ensure project tasks meet success criteria.
  • Report project status weekly to customers, team members, and leadership.
  • Document meeting minutes, issues, and follow up on action items; manage and update issues log and risks.
  • Escalate issues professionally, respond promptly to stakeholder concerns, and adapt project plans as needed.
  • Promote lessons learned and continuous improvement, building strong relationships across IT and business partners.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, adhering to the Project Life Cycle process.
  • Attend on-site meetings in Tulsa or other locations as needed, with onboarding during the first two weeks.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of project management experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • Applicable certifications such as PMP or Scrum Certification preferred.
  • Proven experience in structured Project Management, Value Management, or Strategic Management offices.
  • IT project management experience with technical acumen at an enterprise project scale.
  • Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization, able to lead diverse and large project teams.
  • Experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, including the Project Life Cycle.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams, facilitate meetings, and handle issues and risks effectively.
