What You'll Do
As a Project Manager, you will oversee all phases of heavy civil construction projects, from planning and budgeting through execution and closeout.
Key Responsibilities

  • Manage project budgets, including labor, equipment, subcontractors, materials, and overall cost performance.
  • Lead project planning, execution, and financial management to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules.
  • Perform quantity takeoffs and review project estimates.
  • Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
  • Issue, administer, and manage subcontracts.
  • Prepare and oversee monthly progress billings.
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage project changes and change orders.
  • Collaborate closely with field leadership to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and profitably.
  • Partner with Accounting on accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.
  • Participate in both office and field activities to maintain project visibility and support operations.

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive project management experience in heavy civil construction.
  • Strong understanding of heavy civil construction means, methods, and field operations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, budgets, schedules, and project teams.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing project profitability.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
  • Ability to access all areas of active construction sites in varying climates and environments.
