Job Summary

Job Title:                     Project Manager, Data Center & Telecommunications Infrastructure

Location:                     Linthicum, MD / Frederick, MD

Reports to:                  Vice President

FLSA Status:               Full-Time / Exempt

Work Shift:                 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. / Mon. - Fri.

SUMMARY

ConCor Networks, an EMCOR company, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support continued growth within our telecommunications, structured cabling, and mission-critical data center business. 

The successful candidate will manage multiple projects simultaneously while coordinating customers, field personnel, subcontractors, vendors, and internal resources. The Project Manager will be responsible for delivering projects on schedule, within budget, and to customer expectations while maintaining strong financial performance. 

ConCor is experiencing significant growth across data center, healthcare, enterprise, and technology infrastructure markets and is seeking a Project Manager capable of supporting both current backlog and future expansion

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following:

  • Manage telecommunications and data center infrastructure projects from award through closeout.
  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, forecasting, and profitability.
  • Coordinate field labor, subcontractors, vendors, and customer stakeholders.
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Manage project change orders and scope modifications.
  • Attend customer meetings and provide project status updates.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Support business growth by maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Assist with project planning, manpower forecasting, and resource allocation.
  • Work closely with operations leadership to support strategic growth initiatives.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead, direct and manage project personnel.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of telecommunications, low-voltage, structured cabling, construction, or related experience.  Experience managing multiple concurrent projects.  Experience managing project budgets and financial performance.  Strong written and verbal communication skills.  Strong organizational and leadership abilities.  Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.  

You must be work authorized in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to F-1 (student) visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 10+ years of project management experience.  Data center project experience.  Experience supporting Microsoft, Amazon, healthcare, enterprise, or mission-critical environments.  Experience managing union labor environments.  BICSI certification.  PMP certification.  RCDD certification.  

COMPUTER SKILLS

  • Direct experience with increasing expertise in Microsoft Office Word and Excel applications.
  • Direct experience with financial management software in connection with project management accounting.
  • As applicable software applications utilized in the Commercial Mechanical Contracting industry
