Job description

We are seeking Low Voltage Cable Technicians to become an integral part of our team!

Responsibilities:

  • Perform tasks per BICSI, local and customer standards
  • Provide daily/weekly reports as required
  • Typical working hours are between 7am - 5pm
  • Arrive to work on time
  • Overtime as needed
  • Basic Hand Tools

​Qualifications:

  • Good work ethic, team mindset & positive attitude a must
  • Must have previous Structured Cabling Experience
  • Install J-Hook pathways
  • Install Network cabling, Coax, Composite Wire, Fiber, Copper
  • Using a Labeler
  • Build out IDF Ladder Rack and Racks
  • Dress bundles in groups of 24 -Using a Cable Comb
  • Terminate Patch Panels
  • Experience with Testing equipment, Fluke DSX, OTDR, Power Meter
  • Fiber Termination / Fusion Splicing
  • Troubleshooting common Cable Fails
  • Troubleshooting Fiber
  • Able to travel daily and overnight on occasion
  • Able to work Night shifts
  • Familiarity with telecommunications equipment
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have a valid DL and dependable transportation
