Low Voltage / Structured Cabling Installer (Journeyman)

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform onsite installation and configuration of AV systems including displays, projectors, video conferencing systems, AV racks, and structured cabling
  • Conduct cable drops, terminations, and wiring for low-voltage systems
  • Install and troubleshoot audiovisual equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Assist with system design, layout, and planning of AV solutions
  • Load, configure, and update control system software as needed
  • Maintain a professional presence onsite while representing the GST brand
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in low-voltage installation, structured cabling, or AV systems
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work comfortably in physically active environments
  • Comfortable working at heights and using ladders/lifts
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Must have reliable transportation to report to assigned job site and/or travel between locations as required
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Employees are expected to provide standard hand tools customarily used in the trade.
