Your main responsibilities will include laying out, positioning, aligning, and fitting together fabricated parts according to blueprint and layout specifications. Safety is paramount, and you will be trained to operate overhead cranes and use cutting and heating torches properly.

Your expertise will be utilized in accurately performing complex heat corrections, checking camber and sweep tolerances of beams and steel shapes, and making necessary corrections while adhering to pertinent codes and specifications. Attention to detail is key as you produce finished products that meet recognized standards, codes, and customer expectations by maintaining quality procedures and practices. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to set up complex jigs or assemblies, identify and correct potential hazards, interpret complex documents, and perform daily cleaning and maintenance of your work area.
