Structural Steel Project Manager

This is a ground-floor opportunity for someone early in their career who already has the foundational skills and the fire to build something real. If you can read a structural drawing, pull a material take-off, and show up every day ready to work - we want to invest in you and grow you into a full project manager. This is a great opportunity for new grad Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

MUST-HAVE SKILLS TO APPLY

✔ Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings - this is non-negotiable. You need to be comfortable with plans, elevations, sections, and connection details.

✔ Proficiency in material take-offs - you can work through a drawing set and accurately identify and quantify steel members, connections, and related materials.

✔ Basic understanding of material buyout - experience or coursework in procurement, pricing, or estimating is a strong plus.

Job Description:

  • Budget management: Assist with and eventually own project budgets from estimate through closeout
  • Scheduling: Build and manage fabrication and installation schedules, coordinating with shops and field crews
  • Procurement: Support and grow into leading material procurement and supplier relationships
  • Safety compliance: Learn and enforce jobsite safety compliance standards on every project
  • Material buyout: Assist with material buyout - sourcing steel, working with suppliers, and ensuring on-time delivery
