Job Description:

Cardiovascular Technologist II

Responsible for performing cardiology and vascular procedures under the direction of a cardiologist or vascular surgeon. This position performs a variety of cardiovascular technical procedures requiring independent judgment and the application of ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnoses. This role includes training and certification to perform structural heart procedures. In addition, this position performs advanced vascular cases or functions in advanced electrophysiology roles.

5x8 hour shifts Monday thru Friday

Call 10 days a month

$10,000 Sign on Bonus

Job Description:

  • Performs diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures, including advanced interventions.

  • Verifies orders, facilitates implementation, and communicates with physicians as needed.

  • Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions and documents patient care accurately.

  • Maintains and operates equipment and supplies for cardiovascular procedures, ensuring proper setup and sterilization.

  • Assists physicians in invasive cardiology and peripheral vascular procedures, including administering contrast media.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Basic arrhythmia interpretation [Required]

  • Advanced levels of ECG training and arrhythmia interpretation [Preferred]

  • Computer knowledge and skills [Preferred]

Education:

  • Associate [Required]

  • Bachelor's [Preferred]

Work Experience:

  • 1+ electrophysiology experience [Required]

  • 2+ position related experience [Required]

Licenses and Certifications:
