The Las Vegas team provides structural engineering services for all types of structures with all construction materials: steel, concrete, masonry, wood, cold-formed steel, and more. Our projects include new hospitality projects, retail malls, apartment buildings, tenant improvements for high-end retail stores, building additions, multi-million dollar luxury residences, etc.

Candidate Profile
RJC Engineers US Team is seeking a Junior Structural Drafter/Designer to join our growing team in either our Las Vegas or New York office. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced structural engineers and gain hands-on experience producing structural drawings for a wide range of building types and construction materials. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and eager to grow within the structural engineering and design field.
Key Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Prepare structural design drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
  • Develop structural plans, sections, details, and sketches
  • Collaborate with engineers to translate design concepts into construction documents
  • Follow established document flow, drafting standards, and detailed instructions
  • Adapt to a fast-paced work environment while managing multiple tasks
  • Work effectively as part of a collaborative design and engineering team
Professional Qualifications & Experience
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in structural drafting
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
  • Long-term interest in structural drafting and design
  • Ability to self-start and contribute positively to team efforts
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and well-organized
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
