The Structural/Geotechnical Engineer will draft and analyze temporary work designs for assigned construction projects to ensure constructability with contract documents, specifications and regulatory requirements.

How You Will Make an Impact
  • Provides technical input on temporary works construction designs to ensure constructability and compliance to project contract specifications.   
  • Drafts design plans for temporary works (falsework, shoring, temporary bridges, formwork, slopes, etc.), ensuring completeness and accuracy with regulatory standards and within the contract specifications.  
  • Designs temporary construction elements ensuring ease of constructability, cost effectiveness with materials onsite or purchased, balancing between optimization and feasibility of onsite project construction.  
  • Submits design for peer review or approval review in an accurate and timely manner to avoid construction delays on the project site. Senior engineer or manager to seal designs following approval review.    
Who You Are
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural or related Engineering field required.  
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) or Engineer Intern (EI) preferred.  
  • 2+ years of engineering experience preferred, or 0+ years of experience with a masters degree
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and MathCAD are a plus.  
  • Experience using SAP2000 (Structural) or DeepEX (Geotechnical) preferred.
  • Experience with Revit is a plus.
  • Knowledge and skill in technical writing for clear and efficient communication and understanding. 
  • Knowledge and understanding of constructability and construction practices.  
  • Verbal, written and interpersonal skills required.
