The Department of Design & Construction, Division of Infrastructure, is seeking a Junior Engineer to join the Construction Management Unit.
The selected candidate will receive hands-on training and assist in moderate to difficult engineering work, research studies, engineering investigations, and examinations relating to engineering functions; and will perform civil engineering work of moderate difficulty under the direction of an Engineer-In-Charge and/or Resident Engineer. The work and/or training will be in one or more of the following specialized engineering areas: design, drafting, engineering investigations, estimating, specifications, structural computations, field surveys/inspections, and some design-related site inspections.
Authorization to work in the United States is required for this position. NYC Department of Design and Construction does not provide sponsorship for international employees for visa applications, extensions, or status changes, including STEM/OPT visas.
