Job description

NDI Engineering Company is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic in-house recruiter to meet the hiring needs for three NDI offices (NJ, PA, VA). Candidates should demonstrate superior organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills in addition to a successful recruiting history with a small to mid-size business specializing in technical recruiting (Engineering, IT, Cybersecurity, Logistics); experience in recruiting for the defense industry is highly preferred.
Role and Responsibilities:
  • Management of the overall recruiting strategy
  • Candidate outreach, relationship and pipeline building, sourcing, creative advertising and leveraging social media channels
  • Collaboration with hiring managers to fulfill and proactively anticipate hiring needs including part-time, full-time, independent contractors, and interns
  • Collaboration with hiring managers to fully understand position needs and details
  • Collaboration with HR/Accounting team to ensure a smooth employee transition from recruitment to hire to onboarding
  • Configuring and managing applicant assessments; guiding applicants through the interview process and ensuring any questions or concerns are addressed swiftly, professionally and appropriately
  • Transfer OFCCP data to appropriate databases and maintain records for internal and external reporting
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with appropriate schools, institutions, and social media groups such as Veteran and military transition organizations, minority/diversity groups, and technology groups
  • Coordinate and run quarterly Virtual Career Fairs
  • Represent NDI at Career Fairs at colleges and universities, and other organizations of interest
  • Manage NDI Jobs website postings/removals based on current staffing needs
  • Manage job postings to LinkedIn, DOL, other Job Boards through our ATS
  • Manage Talent Hub candidate database; create monthly reports (number of applicants, contacted, positions offered, positions declined, contingent hires, etc)
  • Experience leveraging other social media for maximum marketing reach
  • Manage the annual recruiting budget; monthly reporting of expenditures
  • Recommend improvement to the recruiting/hiring process; recommend new policies and practices that are standard in the industry that would appeal to our target audience; and emphasize benefits and perks
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree plus 3 years of experience as a recruiter
  • One year in the recruitment of technical personnel; familiarity with recruiting for the Defense Industry preferred.
