Description

As an Intern Electrical Engineer at CDG Engineers, you will be a key player in developing innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges. You will work alongside the EE team to design and implement electrical systems for a variety of industries, including power utilities, renewable energy, and heavy industrial. Your ability to learn new technologies quickly and your commitment to quality will be essential to your success in this role. Start Date: End of May 2027

Requirements for the role:

  • Bachelor's  degree in Electrical Engineering - currently enrolled in school as a Junior graduating in 2029, or a Senior graduating in 2028.
  • Demonstrated class/academic expertise in any core area of:
    • T&D Substation design
    • Renewable Energy - Solar, BESS, Electrification
    • Power Engineering with a focus on heavy industrial systems
    • Automation Engineering or Programming - PLC, DCS, or SCADA Systems
    • System Relaying
  • Working ability with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design tools preferred.
  • Working knowledge of PVsyst or similar solar design software
  • Working knowledge of SKM, ETAP, or similar electrical modeling software preferred.
  • Working knowledge of electric utility industry and environmental issues
