Senior Structural Engineer

Location: Towson, MD
Employment Type: Full-time | Onsite

We are looking for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our clientโ€™s design team in Towson, MD. This role is ideal for a technically strong professional with a solid background in mid- to high-rise building design and a passion for mentoring junior engineers. Youโ€™ll have the opportunity to lead complex projects that include commercial, industrial, telecommunication, and mixed-use developments โ€” with an emphasis on reinforced and post-tensioned concrete systems.


Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and perform structural analysis, design, and detailing for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood-framed structures.

  • Lead the preparation and coordination of proposals, construction drawings, and technical documentation.

  • Apply advanced engineering principles to design durable and efficient building systems, including podium-style structures and multifamily developments.

  • Review design work for accuracy, constructability, and compliance with applicable codes.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and design staff.

  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and internal teams to ensure high-quality project outcomes.


Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Masterโ€™s preferred).

  • 10โ€“20 years of progressive experience in structural building design.

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
