Responsibilities

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

  • Develop sketches, diagrams, design alternatives, calculations, and permitting and construction drawings under the supervision of an experienced civil engineer
  • Assist with activities related to project scope, schedule, budgets, documentation, submittals, quality, communications, and disciplines coordination Work with MEP and Structural Engineering and Architecture Departments on multi-disciplinary projects
  • Attend project/client meetings
  • Assist with report writing and development of contract documents


Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • 15 years’ experience in design and planning multi-disciplinary engineering projects, including civil-site. Working knowledge of standard engineering software, e.g., AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • PE License required
  • Knowledgeable in current codes and standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of multidisciplinary engineering team
  • Strong analytical and communications skills
  • Ability to coordinate with other disciplines and projects
  • Curiosity and interest in continuous learning in AI and comfort experimenting and iterating quickly; uses data to validate ideas and measure impact.
  • Commitment to ethical and responsible AI adoption, including privacy-by-design and safe use of tools.
