Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Structural Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating innovative and efficient structural designs while collaborating with engineers and architects to ensure project specifications are met. This role requires proficiency in various design software and a strong understanding of structural principles.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and draft detailed structural designs using Revit software, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Create analytical models using RISA and RAMStructural.
  • Collaborate with project teams to integrate system design elements into overall project plans.
  • Review project shop drawings.
  • Conduct thorough quality checks on designs and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide on-site observations to ensure project conformance.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to enhance design capabilities.

Experience

  • 2-3 years in structural design or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam for document management and collaboration is a plus.
  • Experience in Revit drafting and the ability to create detailed drawings from conceptual designs.
  • Experience with advanced modeling tools such as RISA and RAM is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey design ideas and collaborate with team members.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering required.
