Structural Engineer
Our client, a well-established engineering firm serving the Gulf Coast region, is seeking a Structural Engineer (PE or EI) with 2+ years of experience in the design and analysis of buildings, bridges, and other structural systems. This is a great opportunity to join a respected team that delivers innovative and resilient structural solutions tailored to the unique environmental conditions of the Florida Panhandle.
Position Overview
In this role, you'll be responsible for performing structural design, analysis, and inspection work across residential, commercial, and public infrastructure projects. The position requires a focus on structural safety, code compliance, and hurricane-resistant design principles. You'll collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure safe, durable, and cost-effective results.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and analyze structural components using tools such as SAP, Tekla, or STAAD.
  • Apply code-compliant, hurricane-resistant, and coastal design standards.
  • Prepare structural drawings, reports, and documentation for construction and permitting.
  • Conduct site assessments and prepare repair or inspection reports.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and project partners to ensure timely project delivery.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
