TITLE: Medical Endoscope Repair Technician
DEPARTMENT: Operations / Service Lab
REPORTS TO: Shop Manager

SUMMARY
The Endoscope Repair Technician is responsible for executing the daily bench repair activities, including the service of prioritized work orders. This role will collaborate with other technicians, operational leaders, and the logistics team to fulfill all work orders in a timely manner.
LEARNING PERIOD
12 Months – Previous experience working on medical endoscopes is a plus however FiberTech will train the right individual that demonstrates the technical aptitude for this job.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Repair medical endoscopes in accordance with company procedures and work instructions
  • Adhere to the repair and material control policies, procedures, and work instructions in compliance with ISO quality standards
  • Manage bench activities to ensure the successful repair, assembly, and function testing of medical endoscopes
  • Support technician teammates with the diagnosis and service of medical endoscopes
  • Capture data for analysis and report concerns to the customer service team
  • Document the malfunctioning or damaged parts, equipment, or tooling. Escalate issues to management for issues with parts upon arrival
  • Perform other tasks when requested by Manager/Supervisor as needed
  • Represent FiberTech Medical professionally, honestly, and ethically in all respects
