They use specific techniques and proprietary equipment to help improve flexibility, mobility, and overall well-being. Unlike traditional stretching, the practitioner provides controlled and targeted stretches, often tailored to the individual's needs. Their role includes assessing clients, guiding stretches, and ensuring safe and effective sessions. Stretch Zone practitioners typically undergo specialized training to deliver these services.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Stretch Zone practitioner, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Stretch Zone Practitioner, you generally need a background in exercise science, kinesiology, or a related health field, often supported by relevant certifications such as personal training or stretch practitioner credentials. Familiarity with assisted stretching techniques, client management software, and basic anatomy tools is typically required. Outstanding interpersonal skills, clear communication, and the ability to motivate and educate clients are crucial soft skills. These competencies ensure safe, effective stretching sessions that enhance client mobility, satisfaction, and retention.

What does a typical day look like for a practitioner at Stretch Zone, and how do they interact with clients and team members?

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, as building rapport and trust with clients is essential for their comfort and retention. Additionally, you'll manage scheduling, maintain a clean workspace, and may participate in team meetings or training sessions to stay current on techniques and company standards.

About the Position
Stretch Zone is looking for an energetic, motivated, and client-focused Stretch Practitioner to join our studio team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about fitness, wellness, movement, and helping people feel their best.
No prior stretch-practitioner certification is required. Selected candidates will receive comprehensive training and work toward becoming a certified Stretch Practitioner.
What You'll Do
As a Stretch Practitioner, you will work one-on-one with clients to provide personalized assisted stretching sessions. You will:
  • Complete Stretch Zone training and become certified as a Stretch Practitioner.
  • Build personalized stretching routines based on each client's goals, target areas, mobility, and needs.
  • Use your training, knowledge, and practical skills to execute each stretch safely and effectively.
  • Deliver a high-quality, professional experience while maintaining Stretch Zone standards.
  • Communicate with clients throughout their sessions and adjust techniques based on their feedback and individual needs.
  • Build positive relationships with clients and help them stay committed to their wellness goals.
  • Conduct demonstrations for prospective clients and confidently explain the benefits of assisted stretching.
  • Convert demo appointments into memberships by identifying client needs and confidently closing sales.
  • Work collaboratively with the entire studio team to create a welcoming and successful environment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional stretching area before, during, and after shifts.
  • Follow all studio procedures, safety standards, and training protocols.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
  • Energetic, personable, and comfortable working directly with clients.
  • Passionate about fitness, health, wellness, or human movement.
  • A strong communicator who can listen to clients and understand their individual goals.
  • Comfortable learning hands-on techniques and applying them consistently.
  • Motivated by helping people and providing an exceptional client experience.
  • Comfortable with sales and able to confidently recommend services that meet a client's needs.
  • Reliable, professional, and able to work as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining a clean and organized studio.
  • Open to coaching, feedback, and continued professional development.
Experience in personal training, fitness, physical therapy, massage, athletics, coaching, or another movement-related field is a plus, but not required.

Training & Certification
You don't need to come in as a certified Stretch Practitioner. We will train you.

Our training program will teach you the techniques, standards, and knowledge needed to provide professional assisted stretching sessions. You'll learn how to assess client needs, develop appropriate routines, and confidently deliver sessions to Stretch Zone standards.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with people, has a passion for movement and wellness, and wants a career where they can make a direct impact on clients.
You should be equally comfortable working with your hands, building relationships, learning new techniques, and having sales conversations. This is a client-facing position where your ability to create trust and provide an excellent experience is just as important as your technical skills.
Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Available
We are currently hiring for both full-time and part-time Stretch Practitioner positions. We offer flexible scheduling options and are looking for motivated individuals who can work effectively with our studio team while providing an exceptional experience for every client.
Whether you're looking for a full-time career opportunity or a part-time position that fits your schedule, we encourage you to apply.
