• Ensure the accuracy of your findings by troubleshooting discrepancies and maintaining lab equipment through systematic preventative maintenance and calibration.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples for in-depth testing as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all laboratory processes, provide guidance to new staff or students, and uphold our lab's quality standards.
• Create a safe and clean working environment by following all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, allied health, or a similar field along with appropriate ASCP or AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) required within one year of hire.
• Maintain active certification for the duration of your employment.
