We specialize in producing high-quality, heavily-illustrated book components such as covers, jackets, packaging, labels, while utilizing special decorative techniques like foil stamping and UV embellishments.

Starting Pay (H1-H5): $17.43 - 23.69/hr (+$1.00/hr Night Shift Differential)

  • Based on grade, position, and experience.

Pay Grade Range (H1-H5): $17.43 - 29.50/hr (+$1.00/hr Night Shift Differential)

What Our Schedules and Shifts Look Like!

  • Days: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm

  • Front Half Days: Sunday-Tuesday and every other Wednesday 7:00am-7:00pm

  • Back Half Days: Thursday-Saturday and every other Wednesday 7:00am-7:00pm

  • Nights: Monday-Thursday (every other Thursday based on production) 7:00pm-7:00am

Available Positions at Phoenix Color:

  • Sheeting Material Handler (H2) - Back Half Days

  • Film Machine Operator (H4) - Front Half Days

  • Film Machine Operator (H4) - Back Half Days
  • Film Machine Operator (H4) - Nights
  • Folding Machine Operator (H5) - Nights
  • Custodian (H1) - Monday-Friday 3:00am-11:00am

  • Pressroom Press Assistant (H4) - Nights

  • Foil & Emboss Coordinator (H4) - Monday-Wednesday 7:00am-4:00pm

  • Foil Machine Operator (H5) - Nights

  • Availability may fluctuate.

Physical Requirements for Pressroom, Film, Foil, Shipping, Spot UV, and Sheeting:

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs, stand/walk for 12 hours, and push/pull 1100lbs with use of a manual pallet jack or stand up forklift

Qualifications:ย 

  • Must be able to read color differentiation and a ruler

  • Ability to read and understand written instructions

  • High levels of attention to detailย 

  • Ability to work as a teamย 

  • Mechanically inclined

  • May be exposed to some liquid chemicals or vapors

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • 6+ months of manufacturing experience preferred

  • Technical training with printing concentration preferred

  • Class C Driverโ€™s License (Box Truck Driving positions only)
