D1 Training Lexington — Built for Athletes. Powered by Coaches.

If you live for coaching, love developing athletes, and want more than just another gym job — welcome to D1 Training Lexington.
We’re proud to coach Lexington athletes, families, and competitors who expect more than sweat sessions. From youth athletes chasing their first podium to adults training with purpose, D1 Lexington is an athletic performance environment, not a fitness free‑for‑all.
We’re looking for high-energy, coachable, growth-minded Strength & Conditioning Coaches who want to build a real coaching career in a community that values effort, accountability, and results.
Why Coaches Choose D1 Training Lexington
  • Coach athletes, not chaos — structured programs, proven systems, clear standards
  • No sales quotas — your job is to coach, motivate, and develop athletes
  • Strong local culture — tight-knit team, high standards, and real ownership support
  • Career path — Lead Coach, Program Director, and Management opportunities
  • Continuing education — paid training, mentorship, and professional development
  • Free D1 membership + uniforms and apparel
  • Performance-based bonuses
  • Flexible scheduling (great for coaches building experience)
  • Paid time off (for eligible roles)
What You’ll Do
As a D1 Lexington Coach, you’ll be on the turf doing what you love — coaching athletes to get better every single day.
You will:
  • Coach group, semi-private, team, and personal training sessions
  • Create a high-energy, motivating environment every session
  • Teach and reinforce proper technique, speed, strength, and movement patterns
  • Modify exercises to meet each athlete’s age, ability, and goals
  • Hold athletes accountable while building real relationships with Lexington families and athletes
  • Start and finish sessions on time, every time
  • Reduce injury risk through smart coaching and movement quality
  • Represent D1 Training Lexington with professionalism, enthusiasm, and integrity
Who We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
  • Love coaching youth athletes, adults, and competitive teams
  • Bring energy, confidence, and presence to the floor
  • Want to grow as a coach, not just stay comfortable
  • Care about athletes as people — not just reps and sets
  • Take pride in preparation, punctuality, and professionalism
Qualifications (Don’t Self-Eliminate)
  • AED/CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain quickly)
  • At least one NCCA-accredited certification (NSCA, NASM, ACE, ACSM, ISSA, etc.)
  • 1+ year coaching experience (group, team, or personal training)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or related field (preferred, not required)
If you’re a strong coach with less experience but the right attitude and work ethic — we want to meet you.
What Success Looks Like at D1 Lexington
  • You coach loud, clear, and with purpose
  • You command the room while connecting one-on-one
  • You care deeply about athlete results and experience
  • You want feedback, mentorship, and long-term growth
