Panhandle Perfection Gymnastics is dedicated to promoting a positive environment in which students can not only improve their gymnastics and physical fitness, but also enhance their self-confidence, social interaction, strength and physical abilities, values and an optimistic perception of sports participation.


**Overview**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced gymnastics coach to join our team at our Pensacola State College location. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching gymnastics skills to students of all ages and skill levels, providing instruction in a safe and supportive environment, and promoting a positive and inclusive team culture. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gymnastics and a commitment to helping students reach their full potential. This is for a preschool and recreational class coach, but the right person could get some team training hours.


**Responsibilities**

- Teach gymnastics skills to students of all ages and skill levels, including beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels, to both school-aged and preschool gymnasts.

- Spot a range of gymnastics skills as needed

- Maintain safe and positive environment for all students

- Provide instruction and feedback to students, focusing on proper technique and safety

- Manage behavior and maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment

- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to develop and implement training programs

- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance

- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling and communication with parents


**Qualifications**

- Experience in coaching competitive gymnastics or participation in team gymnastics

- Experience teaching gymnastics to students of all ages and skill levels

- Strong knowledge of gymnastics techniques and safety protocols

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Experience with physical education or sports coaching is a plus, with an emphasis placed on previous gymnastics team coaching experience

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to climb and participate in gymnastics activities as needed

- Ability to work evening hours on weekdays and Saturday mornings

- Strong commitment to safety and the well-being of students
