We oversee a multi-hundred-million-dollar capital portfolio and partner closely with senior executives to ensure every investment delivers impact.

We're seeking a Strategy Manager who thrives at the intersection of strategy, governance, and executive communication.In this role, you'll manage capital submissions and coordinate capital requirements across multiple program primes in the CPO SVP Capital Prime, while supporting monthly performance updates and governance excellence. You'll influence enterprise-level capital decisions, work directly with senior leaders, and build governance practices that shape TELUS' future.

You'll gain unique exposure to the executive decision-making process while helping drive investments that deliver real impact for our customers and frontlines.

As a Strategy Manager, Capital Governance & Strategy, you will:

  • Manage capital submissions and coordinate capital requirements across multiple program primes in CPO SVP Capital Prime, ensuring alignment with enterprise capital strategy and governance standards
  • Support annual capital planning along with monitoring and managing monthly performance updates and executive-level reporting across the capital portfolio
  • Partner with key stakeholders and finance leads to review, challenge, and enhance business cases-ensuring clarity on benefits, resource needs, and strategic alignment
  • Work as a trusted advisor and influencer, building strong relationships across TELUS Consumer Solutions to foster engagement, drive adoption of capital governance practices, and support change initiatives
  • Provide seasonal support to the MLT during next year prioritization cycles, coordinating capital inputs, managing variance analysis, and providing regular updates to conduct between MLT requests and program primes to ensure timely completion
  • Strengthen governance frameworks, streamline processes, and ensure compliance with TELUS' standards across the capital portfolio, leveraging Excel and Google automation to standardize reporting and improve efficiency
Qualifications

What you bring

  • 3-5 years of capital governance experience in strategy, finance, capital planning, or a related field, with demonstrated knowledge of capital portfolio management, governance frameworks, and capital submission processes
  • Expert-level executive communication skills-able to synthesize complex information into concise executive summaries that drive leadership decisions
  • Exceptional organizational and planning skills; proven ability to manage complex programs and deliver independently in fast-paced, dynamic environments
  • Advanced analytical ability and business acumen, with experience evaluating business cases, investment trade-offs, and variance analysis
  • Strong proficiency in Excel with demonstrated experience in data analysis, financial modeling, process automation, and independent problem-solving
  • Collaborative mindset with proven success in developing cross-functional relationships and functioning independently without constant oversights
