Job description

About the Team
The Risk & Insurance team at DoorDash is building the next generation of insurance capabilities for the company from the ground up. Insurance is one of DoorDash's largest cost of revenue items, making this a highly impactful area with meaningful influence on the company's bottom line. We partner across insurance, operations, and product development to create solutions that improve safety, reduce costs, and support long-term growth. This is a fast-evolving space with the opportunity to help shape new programs from early concept through launch and scale. We are looking for forward thinkers who are excited to build in a zero-to-one environment and work closely with cross-functional teams across DoorDash.
About the Role
We're hiring a Senior Associate, Insurance S&O to help drive the operational, analytical, and cross-functional work needed to launch and scale multiple insurance initiatives in parallel. This person will support go-to-market execution through experiment management, reporting, vendor and procurement follow-through, and day-to-day program management, helping the team translate insights into product adoption and business impact. You will report into the Insurance Strategy & Operations lead on our Risk & Insurance team.
You're excited about this opportunity because you will...
  • Run high-velocity operational tests and pilots that generate insights and help shape new products and programs from zero to one.
  • Partner with Analytics and cross-functional teams to track performance, synthesize learnings, and inform go-to-market decisions.
  • Support execution across a portfolio of insurance initiatives as they move from early concept through launch and scale.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to drive vendor readiness, procurement follow-through, and operational launch execution.
  • Help build the processes, reporting, and operating rhythm needed to support growth, including international expansion.
We're excited about you because...
  • You have 3-5 years of experience in Strategy & Operations, Product Operations, consulting, program management, or a related field.
  • You have strong analytical skills, including experience using SQL to answer business questions or evaluate performance.
  • You have experience independently managing complex, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders and moving parts.
  • You can communicate clearly in written and verbal formats and turn data and ambiguity into structured recommendations.
  • You are comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment and balancing executional detail with broader business context.
