Job description

Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. As the only vertically integrated AI infrastructure company built from the ground up, we own and operate each layer of the stack - from electrons to tokens - to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. When you join Crusoe, you join a team that is building the future, faster.
We're in the midst of the greatest industrial revolution of our time. The demand for AI compute is boundless, and power is a bottleneck. We're solving that - with an energy-first approach that makes AI infrastructure better for the world and faster for the people innovating with AI.
We're looking for problem-solving, opportunity-finding teammates with a sense of urgency, who believe in the scale of our ambition and thrive on a path not fully paved - people who want to grow their careers alongside a team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.
If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.
About the role
Crusoe's data center program is scaling to build out multiple 1 GW+ campuses while simultaneously integrating an ambitious energy-first approach to datacenter development.
As an Associate on the Strategy & Operations team, you will be the analytical engine that keeps the data center construction team running at full speed. You will help build the datasets, the dashboards, and the detail work that turns complex, fast-moving information into crisp, actionable insight. This high-impact role sits at the intersection of data center construction, strategy, finance, operations, and business development, working cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to execute on Crusoe's ambitious vision for AI digital infrastructure.
We run at "Crusoe‑speed"-fast, candid, and allergic to bureaucracy. You'll thrive here if you:
Get energy from ambiguity and find order in the chaos
Sweat the details without losing sight of the big picture
Care more about getting it right than getting credit
Believe AI infrastructure is the most consequential things being built today
What you'll do
  • Data & dashboard ownership - build, maintain, and continuously improve cost, schedule, risk, and quality dashboards so every stakeholder has real-time visibility.
  • Deal support - assist on due diligence and documentation. Prepare data rooms, exhibits, and external deal materials that help transactions get across the finish line.
  • Swiss army knife - jump into special projects, fill gaps, and do whatever it takes to keep the team moving at Crusoe‑speed.
  • Meeting & Daily Operations support - prep agendas, take crisp notes, track action items, and follow up relentlessly so no decision or commitment falls through the cracks.
  • Project tracking - support schedule and milestone tracking across active campus builds. Flag slippage early, surface the critical path, and keep the team one step ahead.
  • Materials creation - draft presentations, one-pagers, and memos for internal reviews, executive updates, and external stakeholders. Make complex information look effortless.
  • Process & playbook support - help document standard operating procedures, RACI matrices, and lessons learned so every new campus launch starts smarter than the last.

What you'll bring
  • 1-3 years of experience in construction management, consulting, investment banking, or a fast-paced operations or strategy role (internship experience counts)
  • Previous exposure to data center infrastructure, co-location providers, development or real estate is a strong plus
  • Strong analytical skills and exceptional proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data visualization tools (Sigma, Tablea, Looker, or similar) is a plus
  • Strong written communication-you write clearly, concisely, and can prepare board-worthy materials
  • Exceptional attention to detail balanced with the ability to move quickly and prioritize ruthlessly in a fast-paced,rapidly changing environment
  • Familiarity with project management concepts (Gantt charts, critical path, milestone tracking); exposure to construction, real estate, or infrastructure a plus
  • A low-ego, high-ownership mindset-you do what it takes and want the team to succeed
  • Strong interest in AI infrastructure, power markets, and large-scale data center development
  • AI First mindset, strong interest in integrating AI into the whole team's workflows.
  • BS in Engineering, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related quantitative field

Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation and equity packages
  • Restricted Stock Units
  • Paid time off, paid holidays & leave of absence programs
  • Comprehensive health, dental & vision insurance
  • Employer contributions to HSA account
  • Paid parental leave
  • Paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability
  • Professional development & tuition reimbursement
  • Mental health & wellness support
  • Commuter benefits (parking & transit)
  • Cell phone stipend
  • 401(k) Retirement plan with company match up to 4% of salary
  • Volunteer time off
