What You’ll Do
  • Lead, coach, and develop two Marketing Strategists; set clear priorities and build their strategic and commercial acumen.
  • Partner with business segment leaders to understand growth goals, customer needs, market opportunities, and commercial priorities.
  • Set the team's strategy, operating cadence, and capacity across assigned segments, ensuring consistent, high-quality marketing support.
  • Personally lead strategic planning and high-impact initiatives for priority segments, serving as a hands-
    on advisor on complex opportunities.
  • Develop segment-specific marketing strategies, annual plans, campaign roadmaps, and go-to-market recommendations that support business growth.
  • Turn business priorities into clear value propositions, marketing briefs, audience definitions, messaging frameworks, and integrated campaign plans.
  • Use voice-of-customer insights, market intelligence, competitive analysis, and performance data to identify opportunities and sharpen strategy.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally—including digital, creative, content, communications, and marketing operations—to deliver integrated programs.
  • Manage the annual events calendar and coordinate execution with business segment leaders.
  • Support product launches, new-service introductions, customer initiatives, geographic expansion, and other strategic growth opportunities.
  • Establish KPIs and dashboards, ensure alignment with OTC's brand and marketing standards, and build trusted segment-leadership relationships.
What You Need
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Five or more years of progressive marketing, brand, product marketing, commercial strategy, or go-to-market experience.
  • At least two years of direct people leadership or demonstrated experience coaching and developing marketing talent.
  • Experience supporting B2B, industrial, manufacturing, distribution, technical, or other complex commercial businesses preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to build marketing strategies that connect directly to business objectives and measurable results.
  • Experience leading integrated marketing programs across digital, content, sales enablement, events, product marketing, and customer communications.
  • Strong analytical and AI skills and comfort using market research, customer insights, campaign data, and business performance metrics to guide decisions.
  • Excellent written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly organized project-management skills and a collaborative, accountable player-coach mindset with a bias toward action and continuous improvement.
