Job Description

As part of the Thermo Fisher Scientific team, you'll discover meaningful work that makes a positive impact on a global scale. Join our colleagues in bringing our Mission to life every single day to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. We provide our global teams with the resources needed to achieve individual career goals while helping to take science a step beyond by developing solutions for some of the world's toughest challenges, like protecting the environment, making sure our food is safe or helping find cures for cancer.

DESCRIPTION

Join our collaborative team at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where you'll help shape the future of digital solutions for bioprocessing. As Senior Manager, Product Management – Connected Bioprocess Solutions, you will lead the strategy and execution of a portfolio of software, automation, and digital products that help customers improve productivity, process performance, and operational efficiency.

This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for defining product strategy, developing long-term roadmaps, and delivering innovative solutions that address evolving customer needs. You will identify market opportunities, guide portfolio investments, and partner across the organization to deliver differentiated solutions that support both customer success and business growth.

Reporting to the Director of Product Management, you will lead a team of Product Managers while working closely with R&D, Software Engineering, Commercial, Marketing, Operations, Manufacturing, and Strategic Business Development. Success requires balancing customer needs, technical feasibility, and commercial priorities while influencing a global, cross-functional organization.

As the business owner for the portfolio, you will define product vision, prioritize investments, and guide products throughout their lifecycle—from concept through commercialization. You will translate customer insights into product strategies that create meaningful customer value while supporting long-term business objectives.

You will evaluate customer workflows, market trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation. You will develop business cases, support annual operating plans, lead new product introductions, and monitor portfolio performance throughout the product lifecycle.

The role also requires building strong relationships across internal teams and external partners to accelerate innovation and ensure solutions meet the evolving needs of customers worldwide.

As a key product leader, you will engage directly with customers, commercial teams, and industry stakeholders to gather market insights, validate product direction, and strengthen Thermo Fisher's leadership position in bioprocessing technologies.

This role offers an opportunity to influence the future direction of Thermo Fisher's digital product portfolio while helping customers improve process performance through innovative technology solutions.
