Purpose

The Data Analytics Manager, Corporate Strategy is a highly analytical, business-minded data leader with deep expertise in medical and pharmacy claims data. This role owns the Strategy team’s analytics foundation and delivery — from data governance through advanced analysis and executive storytelling. The Manager drives cross-functional alignment on metrics, builds scalable “source-of-truth” datasets, leads complex strategic analyses, and translates insights into clear recommendations that influence executive decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Owns end-to-end delivery of strategic analytics—from data acquisition and transformation through insight generation—leveraging internal and external healthcare/business sources (e.g., claims, finance, CRM, and market data).
  • Shapes executive decisions by framing ambiguous business questions, designing analytical approaches, and delivering clear, evidence-based recommendations with quantified impact and trade-offs.
  • Develops and operationalizes performance measurement by defining KPI logic, building scalable dashboards and automated reporting, and producing executive/board-ready materials (e.g., KPI packages, readouts, and ad-hoc presentations).
  • Serves as the Strategy team’s analytics “product owner,” translating stakeholder needs into a prioritized delivery plan, timelines, and measurable outcomes; ensures outputs are adopted and actionable.
  • Establishes and maintains a trusted data environment for Strategy by setting governance standards (definitions, documentation, access management, change control) and maintaining curated “single source of truth” datasets.
  • Drives consistency and analytical rigor across Strategy & Marketing by setting best practices for metric interpretation, quality assurance, and reporting standards; coaches stakeholders on appropriate usage and limitations.
  • Leads continuous improvement of analytics workflows by identifying manual pain points, implementing automation, and strengthening reliability, refresh cadence, and data quality controls.
  • Synthesizes external intelligence into strategic guidance by conducting market/competitive research, integrating third-party data with internal performance signals, and translating findings into growth and targeting insights.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, IT, Health Informatics, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in business intelligence development, data warehousing, or related fields.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with data aggregation and data modeling.
  • Strong experience with Power BI (data models, measures, performance optimization, dashboard design for executive audiences).
  • Familiarity with specialty pharmacy or healthcare data
  • Experience leading projects or initiatives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, structured thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in mathematics, IT, Health Informatics, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience with Python or R Studio.
  • Experience with Spark and/or Databricks.
  • Experience with data warehouse design and implementation
  • Experience translating complex analyses into clear, executive-ready narratives and recommendations (written and presentation format).

Work Environment
