Summary: This analyst will support and carry out a diverse range of assignments, projects, and activities to drive the performance of the Texas Pricing and Product Strategy team, which markets and sells electricity to customers throughout Texas. Responsibilities include supporting acquisition campaigns, completing special projects, and working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related degree
  • 2+ years of experience in market planning in the consumer services industry or energy/electricity sector experience
  • Develop prospect segmentation and targeting strategies to support acquisition pricing campaigns.
  • Assist in the development and execution of acquisition pricing, products, and customer offers.
  • Monitor, analyze, and interpret key performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support the development and maintenance of reporting dashboards that provide actionable business insights.
  • Analyze large, complex data sets to inform pricing decisions and business recommendations.
  • Query data and join tables using Microsoft Excel, Access, and related analytical tools.
  • Communicate key performance indicators and business results to management and stakeholders through clear, concise presentations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and help lead efforts to implement effective solutions.
  • Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, lean environment with changing priorities.
  • Manage multiple priorities simultaneously while adapting quickly to new information, challenges, and business needs.

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Power BI, Tableau, and AI-enabled tools.
  • Demonstrates a strong sense of urgency and accountability in meeting business needs.
