  • Collaborate with Legal, Risk, and Compliance to ensure contracts meet Herc Rentals' standards for legal protection and regulatory compliance.
  • Design and implement supplier performance frameworks, including KPIs, scorecards, and SLA monitoring, to ensure consistent quality, service, and compliance.
  • Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and lead remediation efforts for underperforming suppliers.
  • Provide day-to-day sourcing support to stakeholder teams in producing deliverables and achieving project milestones.
  • Manage multiple concurrent sourcing projects, balancing competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Track and report on sourcing savings, value delivery, and category performance metrics for leadership.

Requirements
  • 5 years of sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management experience with a Fortune 500 or large industrial organization.

  • Master's degree (MBA) or advanced degree preferred.
  • Professional certification (CPSM, CPM, or CIPS equivalent) a plus.

Skills
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to develop long-term category plans aligned to business goals.
  • Demonstrated expertise in negotiating complex, high-value agreements for goods and services across multiple categories.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills, including total cost of ownership modeling, spend analysis, and financial acumen.
  • Excellent project management and facilitation skills; proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities, aggressive timelines, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, organization, and problem-solving skills; ability to present complex information clearly to all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization, building strong relationships with internal clients and external partners.
  • Customer service focused with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset; team player with initiative, a positive attitude, and the ability to adapt to changing business needs.
