Job Summary:
Strategic Risk Solutions Inc (SRS) is seeking a dynamic (RFP) Revenue Operations Proposal Associate to lead the development, optimization and tracking of new business proposals.ย  This is not a traditional RFP writing role; it is a strategic function designed for a growth minded individual who sits at the critical intersection of Marketing and Revenue Operations.
This role will be responsible for architecting the end-to-end lifecycle of RFPs across business units, including proactive research into the marketplace and competitive set to identify potential opportunities and narratives for the CMO and Business Leaders. This role will be relentlessly focused on the continuous improvement of RFP elements and responses, ensuring timely and relevant content is delivered to BU leaders to adapt and finalize.ย  By leveraging HubSpot analytics and competitive intelligence, they will identify origination trends, track win rates, and continuously refine our market positioning based on those analytics.ย  Succes in this role will also require cross-functional integration and an understanding of overall SRS performance metrics and staff/company PR opportunities.ย

Remote โ€“ Location Specific: Candidates must be based in South Africa or Alberta, Canadaย  ย Key Responsibilities Proposal & Content Management
  • Own the development of all new business proposal materials across SRS
  • Manage and track the full RFP lifecycle from intake to submission, leveraging CRM and project management software
  • Conduct post-submission debriefs and feed insights back into the Marketing/BU teams
  • Own the 'Single Source of Truth' for global sales collateral, managing core content, including service descriptions, case studies, and team bios
  • Customize SRS brand storytelling elements to fit specific clients and situations, ensuring all materials meet brand, tone and compliance standards
  • Support the development of custom pitch decks and 'Executive Summaries' for high-value strategic takeovers and new formation leads (both Word and PPT)
Stakeholder Coordination & Value Communication
  • Ensure BUs understand prospect requirements and evaluation criteria
  • Work directly with Corporate Marketing leadership to identify content needs and improvements, as well as ensure consistent storytelling across touch points
  • Maintain ongoing communication with internal teams in order to anticipate incoming business and prospective client needs and ensure on-time delivery of all elements
  • Lead cross functional meetings and solution shaping discussions for prospective clients
  • Integrate input from operations, compliance, actuarial, risk, technology, and client service teams
Project Management
  • Control timelines, deliverables, and dependencies across RFP lifecycle
  • Maintain CRM and project management systems
  • Identify and mitigate risks in the proposal process
  • Track outcomes and feedback to support continuous improvement
  • 4. Business Development Opportunity Management
  • Track and report on opportunity sources and origination trends
  • Develop marketplace intel reports to identify potential takeover opportunities
  • Manage inbound prospect communications and monitor internal outreach
  • Monitor competitive RFP positioning to ensure value of SRS differentiators
  • Partner with Marketing to validate lead generation quality and support ROI analysis
ย  ย Skills & Competenciesย Essential
  • 3-5 years experience creating RFPs in professional/financial services industry
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent writing and editorial abilities
  • Ability to translate complex actuarial, regulatory, and risk-financing concepts into executive-level business cases.
  • Ability to collaborate across diverse teams and time zones
  • High attention to detail and quality
  • Proficiency in CRM architecture (HubSpot preferred) with the ability to interpret pipeline data and conversion metrics
  • Basic capability in information design (PowerPoint/Canva) to ensure that complex data is presented in a concise and brand-aligned format
Desirable
  • Knowledge of captive insurance or related financial services
  • Familiarity and interest in AI tools for copywriting, content generation and research
  • Experience with project management software (ClickUp, Loopio)
  • Familiarity with regulatory and operational environments
  • Multilingual writing skills (e.g., English, French, German, Italian)
Other Expectations
  • Occasional International travel may be required (1-2X per quarter), must have valid passport at time of employment
