Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for coordinating procurement activities? seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to join our team in Miramar. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our Purchasing Manager by ensuring the smooth execution of procurement processes and maintaining effective communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Salary: $20 - $25
Schedule: 8am to 5pm, Monday - Friday
Responsibilities:
- Assist in establishing and maintaining procurement metrics, focusing on key performance indicators such as order placement, delivery times, and supplier performance.
- Collaborate with the Purchasing Manager to negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers.
- Generate and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Track and monitor order statuses to facilitate timely deliveries and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Communicate with suppliers to resolve issues, expedite orders, and ensure adherence to quality and delivery standards.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of strong relationships with suppliers, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
- Support the implementation of procurement strategies to maximize value and efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather information on material requirements and ensure alignment with production schedules.
- Generate reports and updates for management on the status of procurement activities.
Requirements:
