Role and Responsibilities
  • Tactical and strategic purchase cost/value-add projections for existing and new products
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Marketing/Sales to develop and manage strategic supplier relationship
  • Develop and drive End2End multi-channel sourcing strategy for R&D and strategic purchasing
  • Systemize early stage business discussions for R&D and strategic purchasing
  • Analyze/Report consumer electronics market trends and product infiltration strategy
  • Cultivate strategic relationships with various North American organizations suited for discovering disruptive technology
  • Orchestrate internal sourcing events for evaluation of potential suppliers
  • Administer database utilization of potential suppliers
  • Expand candidate company relationship management strategies for past, current, and future suppliers
  • Identify sources of data for performance metrics, enhance process to collect data, and promote the collection efforts to outside organizations

Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree with minimum 5 years' of experience in related field.
  • Solid understanding of technical concepts and functions
  • Ability to interact and gain cooperation of various cross functional team members including Engineering, Marketing and Product Planning Management
  • Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work and receives general instructions on new assignments.
  • Proven track record of managing risk in coordination with project teams and experience in supply chain management strategies
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

The salary range for this role, for candidates based in NYC/California, is expected to be between $137,500 and $170,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
Regular full-time employees (salaried or hourly) have access to benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401(k), Employee Purchase Program, Tuition Assistance (after 12 months), Paid Time Off, Student Loan Program (after 6 months), Wellness Incentives, and many more.
